When you get a new Google order, Ueblo syncs the order to Shopify.
On each order in Shopify, Ueblo includes:
- Which products (variants) have been ordered, and their quantities, as line items.
- The amount that each line item has sold for.
- The shipping option selected and how much is paid for shipping.
- The taxes collected. This can include sales taxes and shipping taxes, each as their own separate line item.
- The customer info that is available, such as name, address, email, and phone number. (*)
- An “Additional Info” section that includes the Google Order ID, as well as an indication that the order comes from Google via Ueblo
After an order has been synced from Google to Shopify, Ueblo will tell Google the Shopify Order ID for the order. This Shopify Order ID will appear as the order’s “Merchant Order ID” in Google Merchant Center.
If a Google Order is pending shipment but does not have a Merchant Order ID, then it was not successfully synced to Shopify. This could be due to unavailable inventory on Shopify, or due to a bug, so please report if this occurs.
* Please note that Google customers explicitly declare whether they accept marketing emails or not. Don’t market to customers who have not granted this permission.
